Where it started.
Every morning, the ops team copy-pasted yesterday's numbers between SAP and their internal dashboard. Fourteen hours a week of it — and worse, the two systems silently drifted apart, so nobody fully trusted either one.
How we built it.
A bidirectional sync engine on BullMQ with conflict-resolution rules the ops team helped write — because they're the ones who know which system wins when the numbers disagree. Every mutation lands in an audit log, and the edge cases surface in a queue a human can clear in minutes.
