Privacy Policy
Who we are
Synapical Software Pvt. Ltd. ("Synapical", "we", "us", or "our") is a software studio based in Delhi, India. Our website address is https://synapical.com.
For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), Synapical Software Pvt. Ltd. is the Data Fiduciary for personal data processed through this website.
What data we collect
We collect minimal data. When you email us — or use the inquiry form on our contact page, which composes an email in your own mail client — we receive your name, email address, and the content of your message. We do not use tracking pixels, session recording, or behavioural analytics.
Our website uses no cookies beyond those strictly necessary for functionality. We do not collect phone numbers or payment information through this site.
Purpose and legal basis
We process your contact information solely to respond to your enquiry and, where an engagement follows, to deliver our services. Under the DPDP Act our legal basis is your consent — you give it by voluntarily contacting us — and the legitimate uses recognised under Section 7 of the Act. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
We do not add you to mailing lists without your explicit consent, and we do not sell or share your information with third parties.
Third-party services and cross-border transfer
This site is hosted on Cloudflare's global network. Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request timestamp) for security and performance purposes, and requests may be served from data centres outside India. Such transfers are made as permitted under Section 16 of the DPDP Act. Please refer to Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
Fonts are loaded from Fontshare and Google Fonts; those providers may log font requests. We use no other third-party scripts, analytics, or advertising services.
Data retention
Email correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to provide our services, typically up to 3 years after a project concludes, after which it is deleted unless retention is required by law. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.
Your rights under the DPDP Act
As a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
- correction, completion, and updating of your personal data;
- erasure of personal data no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected;
- withdraw consent at any time, as easily as it was given;
- grievance redressal (see the next section); and
- nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
Grievance redressal
Complaints or grievances about how your personal data is handled can be sent to our Grievance Officer at [email protected] with the subject "Data Grievance". We acknowledge grievances within 72 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act.
Children's data
Our website and services are directed at businesses and are not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, email us and we will delete it.
Security and breach notification
We apply reasonable security safeguards appropriate to the minimal data we hold — access-controlled mailboxes, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and no databases of visitor data on this site. In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify affected individuals and the Data Protection Board of India as required by the DPDP Act.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page. For significant changes we will notify active clients by email.
